The Believer’s Bible Course (BBC) is a set of taught classes covering a variety of Bible based doctrines, beliefs and teachings about Christianity. It is based on the Biblical instruction to desire the ‘sincere milk’ of the Word of God to grow (1 Peter 2:2).
The BBC is not only for new converts to Christianity or those who have recently joined the New Covenant Church, Streatham. It is also for believers who have not had an opportunity to participate in a structured course in topical Christian issues.
There are twelve classes in all and they hold on Sundays before the main church service in the morning. The classes are lively, interactive and attract participants of all ages. Each course runs for about 3 months with two intakes each year.
There is a short graduation ceremony at the end of each course where successful students are presented with a course certificate. The department also runs a ‘BBC Masterclass Course’ consisting of only four lessons each year.
These are intended for those who simply want to refresh their knowledge and understanding of the fundamentals of the Christian faith.
